We currently accept payment through PayPal. Once the funds have been deposited and cleared in our account you will receive a receipt of acknowledgment of your order and your order will be processed. We shall use our best endeavours to send the goods out on the same day (for orders received by 1pm) by one of our chosen couriers, but do not guarantee this. If goods are not in stock, we will inform you of this and the expected despatch date of your order.
Cancellation of orders
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days excluding Special Orders - items which are ordered in especially from the Manufacturer which are not kept in stock, and bespoke orders â€“ e.g. cut to required length cable.
If you wish to cancel, please inform us in writing by email to email@example.com. We will then provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) to include in your return.
note that if the goods have already been despatched before cancellation has
been made you are required to return the goods at your own cost before a refund
can be made. If you need to return faulty or unwanted goods, please see below
Special and bespoke orders cannot be cancelled, but we may at our discretion try to gain authorisation from the Manufacturer to cancel these if not already despatched, and if approved, cancellation may be subject to a handling charge (up to 35%) payable by the customer.
Delivery of goods
Delivery is free on orders over Â£100 (before VAT) and Â£7.95 (excluding VAT) for orders under Â£100 (before VAT). We will use a courier of our choice or UK Royal Mail to deliver our goods, depending on the items purchased. If being sent by UK Royal Mail please allows 2-3 working days for delivery. If a standard delivery courier order is received by 1pm, in-stock goods are usually received by the customer the next working day but please allow an additional working day for receipt of goods. Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for an electrician to install ordered goods until goods have been received and are undamaged. If for any reason expected delivery date of goods ordered exceeds 14 days the customer will be advised and given the opportunity to cancel or amend their order.
Any missing items / incorrect items must be made aware to us within 3 working days to firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting the order number and the product code of the missing/incorrect item.
Returns Policy â€“
If goods received are found to be faulty within the guarantee period stated by the manufacturer please contact us at email@example.com with:
- The date of purchase.
- The invoice number.
- The product code.
- The reason for the return.
We can then
contact the manufacturer and speak to their after sales team. They will usually
be able to send out a replacement product if the product is found to be faulty
upon inspection, or a refund/alternative may be offered. Some products may
require an on-site engineer. If goods are not found to be faulty, a refund /
replacement will not be issued and the item will be returned to you at your

Where necessary our products should be installed by a competent person and in compliance with the current addition of the IEE wiring and building regulations if this is not the case D.C. Electrical Supply Ltd. and the manufacturer will not be liable for any damage caused by incorrectly installed goods.
Change of mind:
If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org that you wish to return the product. Special orders - items which are ordered in especially from the Manufacturer which are not kept in stock and bespoke orders - e.g. cut to required length cable are non-returnable, but we may at our discretion check with the Manufacturer if they will accept a return, which will likely be subject to a handling charge (up to 35%) payable by the customer if the return is accepted.
Upon receiving your email we will provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). Please include this in your package. All change of mind goods returned must be unused, uninstalled, in perfect condition, in their original packaging, and in a re-saleable condition to be eligible for a refund (minus any delivery costs / handling fees), and must be returned to us within 14 days of emailing us. The cost to return will be the responsibility of the customer. We reserve the right to deduct an amount for goods de-valued due to being handled more than necessary. We recommend you pack the items securely and return via a trackable method as refunds can only be issued once goods are received back to us undamaged.
